Do we use cookies?
This website uses cookies. These are small text files that are sent from the relevant web server to the user's browser on the first visit to a website and stored on the user's device or in the browser's cache. The next time this website is visited with the same device, the browser checks whether a corresponding cookie already exists. The browser then sends the data stored in the cookie back to the web server. In this way, the web server can recognise whether the browser has already visited the website in question. The information collected with the help of cookies is used by us for the anonymised analysis of the use of this website, to improve the offer and to adapt the website for the users. No other use is made of the personal data collected using cookies; in particular, the data obtained is never used to personally identify the users of this website. Of course, you can set your browser at any time so that no cookies from our website are stored on your hard drive or cookies already stored on your device are deleted. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use some functions of this website to their full extent or at all. The exact procedure for changing the browser settings depends on the browser you are using. You can find information on changing or setting the browser settings under the "Help" menu of your browser.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, USA. Google Analytics also uses cookies (see section 8 above).
Google uses this information to analyse your use of the website on behalf of the operator of this website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies or delete them by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser.

We use Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and to optimise this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users' experiences (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they click, what users like and dislike, etc.) and enables us to build and maintain our service based on user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data about the behaviour of our users and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (which is processed during your session and stored in anonymised form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only) and the preferred language in which our website is displayed. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymised user profile. Hotjar is contractually prohibited from selling the data collected on our behalf.

As soon as you activate them (e.g. by clicking a button), the relevant providers can recognise that you are on our website. If you have an account with the social media provider in question, they can assign your visit to our website to your user account. The processing of your personal data by the social media provider in question is then the responsibility of that provider in accordance with its data protection provisions.
