The SPORTEC Trackday Academy Stage ONE at the TCS Training Center in Lignières is led entirely by Marcel Faessler. The three-time Le Mans winner, former Audi works driver and one of the most influential figures in modern endurance racing teaches the fundamentals of track driving personally – direct, clear and with a strict focus on real progress and clean driving technique.
Faessler is one of the most analytical professionals in motorsport. His coaching is based on precise observation and a clear, accessible communication style that beginners immediately understand. For participants, this means no vague advice, but real foundational training to professional standards. Marcel Faessler is supported by Bruno Knecht, an experienced TCS instructor.
Schedule
As part of the TCS Trackdays in Lignières, we will be hosting a focused driver training session on July 6–7. The group is intentionally kept small – a maximum of 8 vehicles – ensuring that every coaching session is direct, personal and unrushed. The event begins on the evening of July 6 with a shared aperitif and dinner at the hotel – a relaxed and important part of the format.
Training under Faessler’s direct guidance
Marcel Faessler personally leads Stage ONE and guides participants step by step through the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics. He is supported by Bruno Knecht, an experienced TCS instructor who complements the program.
Stage ONE is designed for individuals who want to enter the world of track driving in a structured, safe and stress-free way. Beginners are explicitly welcome. The goal is clear: a significant and measurable improvement in driving competence – regardless of vehicle, background or skill level.

We charge CHF 1090 excl. VAT per participant including accommodation and dinner.

To ensure technical safety on the race track, we recommend a race check in advance. This can be requested here: Racecheck request.
In the race check, all safety-relevant components are checked by us before use on the race track. This way we can guarantee fun on the race track. Race safe!
Equipment:
- Helmet compulsory
- Suitable footwear (racing shoes, sneakers, flat thin sole)
- Good tyres and a technically perfect vehicle
